Do you perform a mold inspection?
During any inspection process, mold is always something we look for. When found, we will recommend a Mold Remediation Service which will also provide removal of the problem from your home.
What about including a WDO inspection?
A WDO inspection is an inspection of Wood Destroying Organisms. This may include pests (insects), mold, wet and dry rot, and other moisture related issues. Although these items are also noted during the Home Inspection, only the WDO Inspector can officially perform this service and report these findings. We always refer a separate expert service to perform WDO Inspections.
What will a Home Inspection cost?
An inspection fee for a typical Single Family Residence can vary based on the size of the home, its age and other inspections needed at that time. Beaches Inspections will NOT try to sell customers additional, add-on inspection services they do not need!
What is the difference between a ‘Certified Home Inspector’ and a ‘State Licensed Inspector’?
With the exception of a few, most Home Inspectors are ‘Certified’ through a national organization like ‘NACHI’(National Association of Certified Home Inspectors). A ‘Florida State Licensed Home Inspector’ is a much more qualified individual with years of experience and a background in construction or engineering. Never use a non-‘State Licensed’ inspector and always research the inspector’s qualifications before hiring them.
Do I have to be there?
While it’s not required that the client or Realtor be present for the inspection, it is highly recommended. Observing the inspector and asking questions as you learn about the condition of the home and how to maintain it, can be very valuable to you as an owner of the home.
